Cantamar is a great community of well-maintained single-family homes
located in the Town of Cutler Bay, Florida (south Miami-Dade County).
We are well-located just minutes from shopping,
major highways and Black Point Marina.
Our strong Homeowners' Association with low fees
maintains Cantamar as a safe and attractive family-oriented community,
and also sponsors fun and free activities for both children and adults.

Plan Now for our Annual Meeting and Election,
Thursday, August 20th

Election

The Candidiate Application and Voting Certificate have already been sent out.

If you are interested in running for the Board,
be sure to return the Candidate Application to
T&G Management, 18001 Old Cutler Road, #643, Palmetto Bay, FL 33157
or by email to admin@tgms.com by Friday, July 24th.

There also needs to be a Voting Certificate on file for each home.
If you haven't done one, or wish to change your designated voter,
be sure to return that to T&G at the address above before the Election.

The Proxy and Agenda will be sent out about 15 days before the meeting,
so look for those in early August.
At that time, we will also post them here in case anyone misplaces theirs.

It is very important to either attend the Meeting in person to vote or send in your Proxy
to be sure we get a quorum in order to conduct the Election.
This is YOUR neighborhood. Take an active part!

Cantamar is looking for a new Social Committee Chair

Many thanks to Ann Marie & Rodney Khadoo
for all their hard work managing our social events the past few years.
Unfortunately, work and business obligations won't allow them to continue.

The Social Committee Chair works with the Board of Directors
to plan and manage our great social events like the Halloween Party and Santa's Visit.
The Board is also looking to the Social Chair for suggestions of new events.

If you'd like to volunteer,
please contact the Board of Directors at board@cantamarhoa.org

AT&T Installation

television

We’ve all seen the havoc AT&T has created installing lines in our front yards
(so we can have access to Uverse).
Having the option of Uverse should be a good thing,
but we know residents are understandably upset about the mess.

Please note:

  1. Cantamar does not own the streets/easements (which is where they are working).
  2. We (the HOA) do not have authority to impede them from doing their work.
  3. We (the HOA) have complained, but if neighbors complain as well they might return
and fix all the broken sprinklers/lawns, etc. much faster
  4. The number to call is to file a claim is "risk management" at 877-737-2478.

Let’s work together to return Cantamar to its usual beautiful community.
